An intense period of maturation was just what the doctor ordered for this delightful Craigellachie, which was treated to 11 years of octave cask ageing. These casks are 1/8th the size of a butt, leading to heightened interaction between spirit and wood. It's a clever series from Duncan Taylor who can present some very interesting and unique drams, like this vintage 2011 Craigellachie.
