A masterclass in waxiness, this 36-year-old Cragganmore rested its entire life in a refill hogshead, developing luminous notes of beeswax, honey, pine resin, leather and camphor. Elegant, textural and quietly luxurious, this 1989 vintage single malt was filled into just 126 bottles at 51.9% ABV.
Beeswax, old honey, pine resin, leather, camphor and warm malt.
Waxy and resinous with honeycomb, polished oak, mineral oil and hints of herbal warmth.
Long and glowing. Beeswax, pine, leather and mellow resin.
