Cragganmore 25 1985 Bottling Note

A 25 year old Cragganmore distilled in December 1985, aged in cask 2407 and bottled by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range in November 2011. A release of 223 numbered bottles at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Hints of lemon peel, rhubarb and custard sweets, porridge oats with warm honey, soft malt and cut hay.

Palate: Zesty and rich, spiced notes of aniseed, grapefruit zest, black pepper and some fresh coriander.

Finish: A long, fresh finish with boiled sweets and cough drops.
