New American Oak is a cheaper loose-grain type of oakwood that because of its saturation ability, engulfs its inhabitant! This whisky would be half-decent if bottled at cask strength because the SPIRIT is knackered here.

Back from a tired hiking. pour a dram, don’t even want to bother to think about complexity on the nose or tasting. This is the one make the life so good, nice and simple, creamy and sweet.
So good. I just walked into a restaurant that had it. Delicious! I recently saw a bottle priced at 90ish dollars and thought it must be a damn good blend to command that kind of money... I was intrigued as I’ve always enjoyed the compass box blends at lower price points. I will spend $90 on a bottle of this.
