Winner of 6 awardsAn excellent brand owned by Buffalo Trace that uses similar methods and recipes to the ones Colonel E. H. Taylor introduced and improved during his time as a bourbon distiller in the late 1800s. The Single Barrel release is made with specially selected barrel exclusively aged in Warehouse C, which Taylor built himself in 1881! What a guy.

I sat down with a glass of Pappy Van Winkle 15 yo and a glass of Col EH Taylor single barrel. The Col was much better. Smooth. Great taste with a sweet finish. If you find a bottle, buy it. You won't be disappointed!
Orange peel on the nose. Absolutely silky palate. Like something out of a dream where you can fly and skip merrily across clouds then slide down a rainbow. So easy to drink yet not overly sugary.
All I have to say about this is...WOW! Words cannot do this any justice. Grab a bottle if you can and hang on to it.
Beautiful finish, a real surprise that this was so good
Has a great red fruit finish similar to William Larue Weller from the BTAC. Great stuff and underrated.
