Col. EH Taylor Four Grain Bottling Note

No stock expected.

Another ripsnorting release from the Colonel EH Taylor range, unveiled in 2017. As you would expect from the name, their Four Grain bourbon is made using a combination of four different grains - corn, rye, wheat and malted barley. They age the whiskey for 12 years before it's bottled at 50% ABV.

This was named World Whisky of the Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2018, earning a massive score of 97.5 points.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Opens with an inviting aroma, with the first sip bringing a lot of character. Caramel notes are touched by sweet vanilla and caramel corn, then underwritten by slightly smoky flavors and oak tannins. It maintains a smooth evenness between the four grains interacting with the charred oak barrel. Overall, a nice balance, and unique.
