Description

Clynelish’s famously waxy single malt takes a buttery, creamy turn in this Master of Malt bottling. It matured in a rejuvenated bourbon cask, meaning the old char was removed and the inside charred again to refresh the oak’s influence on the whisky. The cask yielded just 300 bottles at a cask strength of 56% ABV, with no chill-filtration or added colour.

Nose

Breakfast, anyone? Granola, raisin, honey and soft cinnamon spice.

Palate

Buttery, creamy and full of texture. Tropical fruits and gummy bears, wrapped in an oaky, vanilla hug.

Finish

Spice now, still buttery, waxy and sweet, and that crayon Clynelish character makes itself known through the cola bottle finish.
