To a mysterious Orkney distillery we go for this single malt Scotch. After maturing for 19 years at the unnamed distillery, it was bottled at cask strength from a hogshead by Chorlton Whisky. Non-chill filtered, and with natural colour, only 324 bottles were produced, each adorned with a colourful picture showing two people having a merry time making wreaths. How festive.

Nose
Heather honey, with toasty oak and lemon curd.
Palate
Salted caramel, with oaky spice, lemon zest, and gentle coastal smoke.
Finish
Distant bonfires, with dried ginger.
