Chichibu 2012 (bottled 2019) (cask 2074) - Ex Hanyu Cask 70cl Whisky

From the Japanese Chichibu Distillery comes this 2012 vintage single malt. It was initially aged in a cask which previously held Hanyu whisky, before it was transferred to a hogshead which previously held Chichibu whisky! Eventually in 2019, the liquid was bottled exclusively for Selfridges, with just 200 bottles released at a generous 62% ABV. Rather pretty packaging it's presented in, too.
