From the Lady of the Glen range comes a rare sight - Caperdonich single malt! The Caperdonich Distillery closed in the early 2000s, so it's not often you get to see its marvellous whisky! This one was distilled back in 1997, aged in a bourbon barrel, and eventually bottled in 2020 at cask strength. Just 171 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Rum raisin fudge, stewed apricot and a honey on toast character.
Palate
Griddled pineapple and oranges dipped in chocolate. Honeycomb and salted butter.
Finish
Clean and crisp with notes of creamy vanilla, allspice and walnut loaf.
