A single cask bottling of 22 year old single malt from the Caperdonich distillery, which has sadly been closed since the early 2000s. This was distilled in June 1995 and matured in a hogshead until June 2017, when Ian Macleod bottled it with an outturn of 209 bottles.
Nose Nutmeg, cassia and cinnamon, shortly followed by citrus and caramel-drizzled barley.
Palate Sugary oat biscuits, toasted oak, brandy butter, a hint of banana fritter.
Finish Subtly minty on the finish.
