From the Hepburn's Choice independent bottling range comes a nine year old single malt Scotch whisky distilled by Caol Ila back in 2010! It was drawn from a wine cask in 2020, producing 388 bottles, presented at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Strawberry tart, seaweed, and some savoury oatcake warmth.
Palate
Still packed plenty of coastal notes, though how with honey and damson jam in support.
Finish
Cinnamon and smoked paprika spiciness, mellowed by caramel.
