An indie Caol Ila single malt, distilled back in 2013 and allowed to rest in a single cask for 8 years. Following that slumber, this whisky was independently bottled by Adelphi in 2021 at cask strength, producing a small outturn of only 324 bottles.
Smoky peanut shells with a drizzle of maple syrup, plus freshly chopped parsley.
Dry malt with salted nuts again, now with seaweed and sawdust spiciness in tow.
A hint of waxy orange. Still enjoyably savoury.
