Description
A fabulous single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2012 and matured for 8 years in a single bourbon hogshead cask. This was bottled by Chapter 7 for its Monologue series in 2021, with an outturn of 301 bottles. Plenty of Islay sea breeze here, with a glorious bourbon cask influence!

Nose
Beach bonfire with floral vanilla, poached apples, and salty oak.
Palate
Lemon zest and coastal breeze, seaweed, and smoky malt.
Finish
Smoky with sharp pepper, vanilla oak, and crisp citrus.
