The third release in Douglas Laing's Provenance Coastal Collection is a 6 year old single malt from the Caol Ila distillery! Matured in a single refill hogshead from December 2011 to August 2018, this expression has everything you love from good Caol Ila and more. Just 405 bottles were produced.
Toasty peat with underlying seaweed vegetal hints, balanced by burnt sugar sweetness.
Oily malt, dark chocolate, charcoal, a touch of salted lemon.
Soot, peat and roasted barley.
