A sherried, single cask single malt distilled at Caol Ila in 2006. The peated Islay whisky matured for 16 years in a moscatel hogshead before it made its way to the indie bottler Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers range. With an outturn of 317 bottles, this was bottled with natural colour, and non-chill filtered.
Cinder toffee, praline, and distant bonfires. With a touch of leather, and dark red berries.
Dark caramel, Christmas pudding, and characteristic Caol Ila peat. With spiced, poached figs.
Baking spices linger, along with smouldering embers.
