After maturing in a refill hogshead, this single malt from Caol Ila was re-racked into a host of first-fill oloroso sherry octaves to finish its 14-year maturation. An independent cask strength bottling from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, it's brimming with waves of campfire smoke, grilled fruit, and peppery spice.

Batch 23 is a release of 525 bottles.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sweet, tangy apple sauce, salted tablet, beach bonfire, and grilled lemon.

Palate Sticky ginger cake and a touch of charred pineapple join smoked salted almonds, sooty peat, and peppery oak.

Finish Sweet peat lingers, with smouldering ash, burnt toffee, and lingering ginger.
