    The

I worked briefly in the Brig o'Tay' in Newport,Fife, in 1976, then owned by Frank McGrory. One of the favourite orders at the bar was 'Twa Cameron Brig'. Mind you, 'Twa OVD' was also popular. When I heard that Cameron Brig was the world's only single grain whisky (that was then) I tried it and was delighted. It makes a fabulous present to someone who is sceptical about Scotch whisky, with its delicate and memorable flavour.

Cameron Brig, Black Barrel and Invergordon have all been grossly underestimated, although it's understandable given the fabulous and well-deserved reputation of single malts. It's time Scotland started shouting loud about the quality of its single grains too!

    Pleasant enough on its own...

...but I use it as the base in my own blending and furthering my whisky knowledge as I create my own drams. x

    This is truly wonderful

Having been a fan of The Invergordon single grain in the nineties, I sought the advice of staff at The Whisky Shop in Inverness for an alternative. My first bottle of Cameron Brig was purchased for me and I have just taken delivery of three more from Master of Malt. This is so easy to drink as it is exceptionally smooth. The perfect way to relax at teh end of a busy day.
