Unfortunately, we can't ship Caledonian 29 Year Old 1987 (cask 23885) - Lost Drams Collection (Valinch & Mallet) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
The Caledonian distillery is sadly shut, but their whisky remains available through indie bottlings like this! It's a Valinch & Mallet Lost Drams Collection bottliong of 29 year old Caledonian single grain, distilled in 1987 and left to mature in a bourbon hogshead until 2016. 146 bottles were produced.
Nose: Dried apricot and apple, with underlying earthiness.
Palate: Soft oak, sugared peels, a kick of cumin powder.
Finish: Wave after wave of caramel - a very long finish.
