Bushmills Sherry Cask

The Bushmills Steamship Collection set sail in 2016 with the Sherry Cask Reserve - delicious triple distilled Irish single malt whiskey mature in first-fill oloroso sherry buttes. The Steamship Collection was released originally for the Travel Retail market, inspired by the 125th anniversary of the SS Bushmills maiden voyage.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sweet and rich with jammy red berries and ripe pear. Burnt toffee notes arrive after a minute or two.

Palate Pineapple chunks drenched in rum and dotted with real cherries. A good helping of thick, sweet chocolate develops.

Finish Mince pies, light fruity esters, a touch of cinnamon.

I've been really good, can I have

Reviews for Bushmills Sherry Cask Reserve - Steamship Collection
Can't find a better single malt
Excellent whiskey. Masters of Malt are right on. It's everything they said and more.

Great for the price
I really liked this. It does not compare to Middleton but its a great whiskey for the price. The sherry casks fir me don't over perfume like the bourbon casks then to do and are more subtle in both the nose and taste. My go to for introducting people to good whiskey without breaking the budget.

Favorite single malt.
Best single malt I've tasted and I have tasted many-all from Scottland. I find that it is smooth, all the way through-from the front of the tongue to the back of the tongue and beyond. Can't wait until available in the USA. Hopefully sooner than later>

Box worth more than what’s in the bottle
No depth. No complexity. Subtle vanilla turns to dry.
If you like bland then this is for you.
Box worth more than what’s in the bottle.
Not worth the price.

Don’t pass up a chance to sip!
One of the smoothest Irish Whiskeys. If one enjoys drinking a whiskey that’s smooth and tastes like candy, this is the one. Always drink this whiskey “neat. “ You won’t be disappointed.

Complex take on the Black stuff
It's like black Bush but the flavours are more intense. Black Bush is one of the best singles out there and this is an upgrade of sorts. Well done the team for making this gem.
