A very special edition of the Bushmills 1608 blend, this commemorates the distillery’s 400 year anniversary. Jim Murray awarded the blend 94 points.
Nose: Rich, warm. Plenty of floral, sherried notes. Slightly earthy, berry fruits, vanilla and a hint of smoke.
Palate: Full, round palate with marzipan, peels, sherry, thickness.
Finish: Long and fruity, becomes slightly dry.
Overall: A superb Irish blend, lovely balance.

Bushmills rich but uncomplicated flavor profile with added depth (no age statement, though) and sweetness and a nice little punch (92 proof). Solid stuff and a limited release so grab it and try it for yourself. I'm off to get a 2nd bottle!

Great little blend, goes great with some smoky cheeses.I would recommend as the price isn't all that steep.
