Bushmills 10 Year Old

A superb 10 year old Irish single malt whiskey and winner of Best Irish Single Malt Whiskey at the 2007 World Whiskies Awards. Wonderfully fruit-forward, with a good helping of vanilla and warming oaky spices in support.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Cooked banana and tropical fruit.

Palate Guava, cantaloupe melon, over-ripe white peach, vanilla and peels.

Finish Floral, spicy finish.

Overall Add a drop of water and it tastes just like nectarine chunks in low fat yoghurt!

Winner of 9 spirit awards

Reviews for Bushmills 10 Year Old
Great Service.
Have been using Master for several years. A massive range of drinks to accommodate all tastes and price ranges. Buy special whisky at Christmas which are hard, if not impossible, to find in the shops.
Have always has great service. Thanks.

Soft and elegant
Not sure I'm a good enough taster to describe in terms of fruit, herbs, and spices the smell and taste of Bushmills Malt. But as an introduction to single malt whisky/whiskey it's as good a place to start as the rare triple distilled, or Lowland Scotch malts. Graduate to bigger beasts from here and, no matter how far you go, you'll always find a place to return to Bushmills 10 year old in your tasting journey.

Add a drop of water
Been a fan of Bushmills 10 for years. If you haven't, try adding a drop of water; it changes the taste profile.

Are there better whiskies out there? Absolutely. But if you can get it in the UK on offer for £25, it's a no-brainer for the price point. I wouldn't pay full price... £35

Soft, vanillin with just a touch of sweetness
I’ve never tasted cooked bananas, nor smelled them, but the nose is soft and slightly sweet, perhaps with a touch of roasted marshmallow. There are some citrus notes in the very soft delivery and I get the vanilla right at the back. I’ve wanted to try this since seeing it in Dublin in 1994. Then, it was ab out $240 AU. For $40 in Myanmar, it’s a steal. Very nice. Better than Jamesons. But both have a place here.

Wonderful Irish whiskey
This is a wonderful Irish whiskey. It is a level above the scotch whisky’s. Pleasure to sit and enjoy a glass on a Friday evening after work.

Bushmills the legend!
Bushmills 10 Single Malt is a delicious Irish whisky! I happen to be enjoying a dram at the moment in Dublin. Tastes great and will be a mainstay on my shelf.

A Decent Irish Whiskey
This is a decent Irish Whiskey. I get the taste of pear drops followed by the warmth of a spicy after taste.

See above
I was introduced to Bush Mills a few years ago during a visit to Northern Ireland. It is my favorite whisky and will likely remain so. It is an ancient whisky. It is now an old friend. Nothing more to add. Please keep stocking it.
