Islay single malt Scotch whisky here from Bunnahabhain distillery, specifically of its peated variety, Staoisha. Distilled in 2013, the whisky was finished in a PX puncheon (cask #800076) and bottled as a 9-year-old in 2023 by Alistair Walker for its Infrequent Flyers series at 55.7% ABV.
Gingerbread, sweet tobacco, rich smoke, salted caramel, and dry roasted peanuts.
Sea salt, toasted brown sugar, blackcurrant, Nutella, cured meat, and beach bonfire.
Peppery with coastal peat lingering.
