Nose: Very fruity coffee - notes of kumquat, red grape and clementine develop. Sea breeze gathers in the glass, and develops into toasty oak smoke after five minutes or so.
Palate: Still deliciously fruit-forward, though now there's handfuls of candied peels and blueberries too. Rye bread with a layer of quince jam. Elegantly well oaked.
Finish: Salted crackers, with strawberries and black pepper in tow. Red apples appear very late on the finish.
