That Boutique-y Whisky Company has gone and bottled up its 23rd batch of Bunnahabhain single malt, and it's an excellent 26 year old expression from the Islay distillery! It has been released as part of the Boutique-y Records series, and the label looks a bit like you've found it on a music streaming service. Streaming whisky is, as of the time of writing, not actually a thing, but who knows what the future holds? I bet people in the 1700s didn't know that one day we'd VHS tapes, so anything is possible.
Batch 23 is a release of 132 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Juicy citrus and fields of barley, with a whisper of earthy oak.
Palate Cooked orchard fruit, more fragrant barley, dark chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt.
Finish Softly peppery, the oak notes building, mellowed by malt.
