An intriguing Bunnahabhain single malt, bottled for La Maison du Whisky. Released in livery you'd be more accustomed to seeing used for Edradour, this heavily peated Bunnah was aged in a single hogshead for 10 years, from January 2007 to September 2017, before being bottled at cask strength. 360 bottles were produced.
Nose Honey-roasted ham with grilled pineapple cutting through the salinity.
Palate Richly malty, with waves of coastal smoke crashing around. Spicy at points, too. An exciting expression!
Finish Ginger, caramel and burnt ends.
