Single Malt
Swell de Spirits
Lochindaal from Bruichladdich distillery is a single malt peated to a medium level. It's not a common sight among independent bottlers, so this addition to the Co-Bottling Series from Swell de Spirits is a real treat. Bottled in 2022 in collaboration with Nanyang Whisky Singapore, this single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 2009 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel. Only 322 bottles were released, at cask strength and without added colour or chill filtration.
Meaty smoke and coastal character, with some baked apples, and roasted almonds.
Damp bonfires, plasters, numbing pepper, woody spices, and singed caramel.
Iodine, and treacle toffee.
