Description

A limited-edition twist on the Classic Laddie, this is the Sherry Cask Edition. A showcase of Bruichladdich’s unpeated house style matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks, this is perfect for anyone who wants to see what happens when the famed West Coast whisky goes full-on Spanish influence.

Bottled at a generous 50% ABV without chill-filtration or added colour, it’s bold, fruity, and richly expressive.

Nose

Fig jam, candied orange peel, and sultana mingle with sea spray, toasted almonds, and butterscotch.

Palate

Rich and oily, bursting with stewed fruits, salted caramel, date syrup, and roasted nuts. Hints of leather and coastal minerality.

Finish

Chocolate-dipped raisins, marmalade, and a flick of spice and salt.

Warming spice

very pleasant whisky, and its my first experience with Sherry cask edition. raisins and apricots in the nose, oily texture, clear sherry influence with chocolate flavour, medium finish with little spice on it. added few water drops to get more fruits in taste...was my evening dram
