Gouden Carolus Single Malt
Belgian single malt whisky from Gouden Carolus. Fans of the Belgian beer may be excited to know this release used the same mash, and enjoys an aging period in casks from the brewery. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and without any added colouring, it's a well balanced dram with plenty of Belgian beer influence.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh cut hay, delicate floral hops, drizzles of caramel, and oaky vanilla.
Palate
Sticky malt loaf, with more vanilla, spiced apple compote, and a pleasant bitterness.
Finish
Barley sweets, with spice building.
