This is a 21 year old single malt from the Braeval Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. Back in February 2000, the whisky was distilled and filled into a single refill butt casks, and there it stayed until February 2021. It was bottled at cask strength (hence the bottling series name), with an outturn of 591 bottles.
Cooked summer berries and toffee apples, with a dusting of cocoa.
Richly honeyed, plus cinnamon and clove spiciness popping up along the way.
Subtle minerality lingers, with a touch of fresh linen.
