From Càrn Mòr's excellent Strictly Limited range comes a single malt distilled at Royal Brackla distillery. This one was matured for 13 years in a combination of first-fill bourbon and refill bourbon casks.
Bright citrus and sparkling orchard fruit are joined by vanilla and toasted oak.
Caramel, coconut, and cinnamon emerge under more orchard fruit and lemon peel.
Sweet and satisfying.
The Carn Mor 2009 is a whiskey that masterfully balances depth with refinement. Its initial aromas reveal rich vanilla with hints of citrus, while the palate opens up with subtle cinnamon, soft coconut, and chocolate, complemented by a touch of lemon zest for refreshing balance. The finish is long, sweet, and slightly smoky, leaving a lasting and delightful taste. The bourbon cask aging adds a unique complexity and charm that truly elevates this whiskey.
