A single malt from Islay's excellent Bowmore Distillery, independently bottled as part of the Darkness range after 18 years of maturation – including a stint in Moscatel sherry octave casks! With familiar peaty notes alongside the intriguing sweetness of Moscatel, this expression is impressive indeed. If you're an Islay enthusiast, we reckon you'll want to snap up a bottle.

Nose
Sea breeze, toasted almonds, a hint of meaty malt.
Palate
Salted lemons, sultanas, earthy smoke and a touch of old leather.
Finish
Cocoa, more maritime hints, and a little smidge of tobacco.
