Matured for 17 years in a single refill bourbon barrel, this Islay single malt boasts layers of citrusy smoke, dark chocolate, and coastal salinity. Earlier Bowmore labels from Boutique-y featured a young lad running away from a lifeguard. A far-fetched story relating to the swimming pool that the distillery donated to the community in 1990. Here we see that heroic lifeguard take centre stage, and he looks just like our beloved colleague James. What an odd coincidence. A release of 343 bottles.
