That Boutique-y Whisky Company presents a belter from Bowmore here! Matured for 17 years in a single refill bourbon barrel, this Islay single malt boasts layers of citrusy smoke, dark chocolate, and coastal salinity. Earlier Bowmore labels from Boutique-y featured a young lad running away from a lifeguard. A far-fetched story relating to the swimming pool that the distillery donated to the community in 1990. Here we see that heroic lifeguard take centre stage, and he looks just like our beloved colleague James. What an odd coincidence. A release of 343 bottles.

Nose
Initially greeted by bright, citrusy smoke, a signature of Islay, presenting as lemony peat.
Palate
Notes of dark chocolate and the subtle, fresh spice of new oak.
Finish
Finishing with a pronounced salinity, balanced by a lingering sweetness of juicy fruit.
