Description

The entry bottling to Bowmore's Sherry Oak series, this 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky was aged in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, with an oloroso sherry-seasoned cask finish. Expect classic smouldering smokiness to meet sweet spice, nuttiness, and dried fruit. The brand recommends you elevate your tasting experience by pairing Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak with roast scallops, herb puree, sea succulents, and chicken butter sauce.

Vanilla caramel, red berries, marzipan, icing sugar and hints of dried fruit.

Palate

Ripe pears, lemon juice, cinnamon, toasted almonds and peaches in syrup with increasing levels of smoke.
