Boondocks 6 Year Old Port Cask Bourbon
Headed by Dave Scheurich, former master distiller of Woodford Reserve, the Boondocks range offers us an impressive array of American whiskey, including this Port cask-finished bourbon! The Kentucky straight bourbon matured for a total of six years, and that Port finish has brought layers of rich oak, raisins, and sweet spice to the table.

Nose
Vanilla fudge, charred oak, dried cherries and berries, with cinnamon sticks in tow.
Palate
Silky layers of butterscotch cushion a touch of smoky oak char, joined by plump raisins and sweet spice.
Finish
Rich oak lingers, with dried fruits, vanilla, cinnamon snaps, and a touch of nutmeg.
