Blanton's Straight From The Barrel - Barrel 86
This glorious single barrel bourbon from Blanton's joins the Straight From The Barrel collection. Having matured in the revered Warehouse H, it was bottled up from barrel number 86 at a bold 64.7% ABV.
Please Note: Unfortunately, the gold wax atop these Straight From The Barrel bottlings is currently prone to cracking. We're informed that this should be a short term problem, but please be aware when purchasing this tasty bourbon. (Don't worry, the delicious liquid inside won't be affected!)
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted oak and flamed orange peel, followed by hearty helpings of red chilli and cinnamon.
Palate
More charred oak on the palate, balanced by toffee popcorn, banana chips and allspice. Oily at points.
Finish
Chewy caramel lingers. Long and well-spiced.
