A Highland single malt from bottlers Thompson Bros, this 2006 vintage Scotch whisky from the Blair Athol distillery spent over 12 years maturing in a combo of refill barrels and hogsheads before 547 bottles were filled in September 2023 at 50% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Herbaceous and bright with citrus zest, boiled sweets, mint, and red apple skins.
Palate
Oak char, lime peel, blackcurrant, black pepper, orange oil, and clove.
Finish
Mellow spice and orange blossom.
