Pedro Ximénez is the star of the show for the 2022 release of Bladnoch's 19 Year Old. The Lowland single malt wasn't treated to just a finishing period in the classic sherry variety, it spent all 19 years slumbering in its rich, sticky-sweet loveliness. Expect to be sherry bombed.
Dried apricots, blackcurrant jam, and warming nutmeg emerge from delicate floral notes.
Dark liquorice sticks, red berries, peppery oak, and Manuka honey combine in a rich, thick palate.
Very long and a little drying.
