The 2010 vintage Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish once again sees the excellent distillery in Speyside allowing some of its whisky a lengthy finishing period in casks that previously held Sassicaia wine from Bolgheri. This edition was bottled in 2018, and possess all the yummy notes we've come to expect from this expression over the years - namely a whole host of fresh fruit balanced by robust malt and herbaceous oak.
Perfumed malt, honeydew melon, greengages, black tea.
Juicy blood orange, buttered rye bread, sandalwood.
Blueberry muffin, mint leaf, caraway.
