This is a 2015 vintage batch of Benromach's organic Contrasts series, certified and fully accredited by the UK Soil Association! Matured in new American oak casks until 2024, it boasts layers of sweet malt and banana, backed by coffee, cocoa, and gentle spice.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Sweet vanilla and ripe fruits accompany citrus zest. Toasted malt leads to green apples.
Palate
Creamy with soft pepper and butterscotch. Freshly ground coffee develops alongside dried banana and a subtle herbal edge.
Finish
Medium bodied and long with aniseed and cocoa powder.
