Benriach 10 Year Old 2011 (cask 2377) - Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker)
Distilled at Benriach in June 2011, this single malt was filled into a single oak cask, where it was left to rest for a decade. In September 2021, independent bottler Alistair Walker opened up the cask, releasing a total of 272 bottles for the Infrequent Flyers series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla pod, fluffy sponge cake, and resinous oak with a touch of praline.
Palate
Toasted oak and caramel lead with tropical hints of pineapple and green banana followed by darker dried fruits and baking spice.
Finish
Creamy mocha, bold oak, citrus zest, a touch of cinnamon.
