Bell's Original is a smooth, well-rounded whisky with a hint of smoke. It's perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks.
Bell's whisky is the United Kingdom's most popular blended Scotch whisky, this is the standard release of Bell's Original, with notes of fresh herbs on the nose with cereal sweetness on the palate.
Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.
Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice.
Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.

Tasting this put me off whisky for most of my life until I realised, during visits to various distilleries while on holidays, that their whisky didn't taste anything like as bad.
It's an acceptable blend with softly notes and a smokey finish
i believe the bag lady review best describes this whiskey. but i still think that's being to nice about how it tastes. if you look above what the description says about fruitcake and smoke' well more like boiled urine with hints of white spirit. want a good whiskey. try chivas regal
Some of the comments are absolutely wonderful. I drink a lot of pretty expensive singlemalt and I was actually surprised by this cheap bastard. Not good but definety drinkable with a couple of rocks. Cheers !
Reminiscent of what I would imagine Red Diesel would taste like after its been slow filtered through the crotch of a 70 year old bag lady's tights.
