Description
The Base Spirits range is all about providing you with tasty spirits that can be a great base for your cocktails. Hence the name. What we've got here the the Base Spirits Blended Scotch Whisky, which is made with a blend of well-aged grain and mature malt whiskies, featuring whisky from Speyside as well as peated Islay whisky. It will certainly do well in a Rob Roy, and we reckon it'll make a tasty Scotch and Soda, too...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Warm malt, waxy peels, marzipan and smoked almonds.
Palate
Toffee pennies and vanilla fudge, dried fruit, Brazil nuts and a waft of salty sea air.
Finish
Green apple, nutmeg, toasted oak staves and barley.
