10 year old Balmenach single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range. This was aged in a refill hogshead from March 2007 to May 2017, when it was then bottled at 46% ABV with an outturn of 417 bottles.

Nose
Salted crackers, vanilla-y barley and a touch of wet grass.
Palate
Flamed orange peel, fennel, pear.
Finish
Stem ginger and sawdust.
