From Edradour's peated range, Ballechin, comes a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled back in 2004 and then matured in two Madeira wine puncheons (#184 and #189) before it was bottled in July 2023 with an outturn of 1,323 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Redcurrant sweetness, toasted teacake, persimmon, cinnamon, and smouldering embers.

Palate

Honeyed sultanas, stewed plums, salted nuts, crunchy brown sugar, black peppercorn, and orange oil.

Finish

Smoke, dried fruit, woody clove, and dark chocolate.
