Bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, this single malt from Balblair joins the bill for the indie bottler's Cinema Series. Matured for 11 years in a single bourbon barrel and bottled up at a robust cask strength of 58% ABV, it'll make the ideal accompaniment to a whisky and film night.
Batch 3 is a release of 308 bottles.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Fruity notes of banana bread, foam banana sweeties, and sweet plantain, with waves of custardy vanilla and peppery oak.
Creamy barley and vanilla welcome the way for Caramac bars and soft, sweet spice. There's a touch of herbaceous malt beneath, cushioned by silky custard.
