There are only 15 bottles of this single malt from Aultmore, matured for a tremendous 38 years before it was bottled. Who would go to all that work, making up just 15 bottles? Indie bottler Forgotten Gems of course.
Sweet, juicy notes of barley water and apple balance earthy oak and clove, with a touch of zesty tangerine developing in time.
Tangy layers of orange balance warming, woody spice, and more of that clove from the nose. There's a note of sweet, stewed tea nestling in the depths.
Old oak, gingerbread, and a touch of pepper wrap things up.
