This 13-year-old single malt from Aultmore joins That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Cinema Series having matured in not one, but two different bourbon casks. After an initial 11 years in a refill bourbon barrel, the whisky was re-racked in a fresh first-fill bourbon barrel to bathe for its final years, ensuring that the biscuity malt shines alongside layers of zesty citrus and chalky grist.
Batch 18 is a release of 418 bottles.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
