Wine Cask
An 8 year old single malt from the Auchroisk distillery, drawn from a red wine cask! This ought to be very interesting indeed... It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2017 for the Hepburn's Choice range by Langside with an outturn of just 272 bottles.
Malty at first, with greengage and raspberry notes in support.
Milk chocolate with raisins, a slight mineral notes lingering in the background. Honey'd barley again.
Drying and very slightly floral.
