From the Auchentoshan distillery in the Scottish Lowlands comes a triple distilled single malt Scotch whisky aged entirely in first fill American oak casks. A light, bright whisky with plenty of vanilla sweetness at its centre - great as an aperitif dram.
Oranges and lemons, toffee chunks and milk chocolate. Wafts of grassy air and clotted cream.
Bounty bars, more citrus peels and peaches. A little bit buttery, with golden barley and oak spice developing on the mid palate.
Lasting notes of grapefruit and toffee pennies.

I am a self confessed Islay malt and smoky, peaty fanboy. This is a delightful sweet and smooth lowland malt. Slightly toffee and oaky. A decent price too,
Very pleasant drink.
Doesn't compare to the 12 year old version. Buy we year old, don't waste your time.
Really weird banana-ish taste at the start, but honestly pretty pleasant given the price point. Nice warm spicy finish. I've had far worse single malts for £20, that's for sure!
The naysayers are insane. Smooth buttery vanilla followed by the longest post-sip finish in any single malt EVER. Grapefruit, mandarin orange, pepper, banana, WOW. A huge nuanced whisky. Absolutely amazing. And the price......
